Love Sonnet Sean Casey Ever have I been in love, bitter love that brings me little solace, even less surviving comfort. Its embrace, a void conveying only cold in its caress. Began as an affair, in many ways I still had many others that I knew loved me too. Caught in the exotic maze of her, others faded, diseased love grew. We courted, I asking that she permit our souls to join for all eternity. She would not give in, she would not commit, and left me without, hateful destiny. Some have been known to flirt with disaster, but only a fool falls in love with death. Sean Casey is a 28 year old fiction writer who spends his days hanging out in cemeteries and his weekends eating cookies with his children.
