Going Home

Sean Casey

Wish I could go home
They made me go
I hate this wretched place
Gone far, far away

They made me go
And I left her
Gone far far away
Away from her

And I left her
So I’m stuck here
Away from her
But, I can return home

So, I’m stuck here
In this blasted place
But, I can return home
After I’ve been here

In this blasted place
There is little that I care for
After I’ve been here
I would never be the same

There is little that I care for
More than I love her
I would never be the same
If she were dead

More than I love her
I hate this wretched place
If she were dead.
Then I could go home
